Artist History
IN THE BEGINNING:
GHOSTBOX was formed by BRANDON JONES (lead vocals, guitar), RYAN LOWRY (lead guitar), NEIL CARPENTER (bass), and CHRIS CHASE (drums) in late 2001. Spanning from all parts of the country (including Boston, Los Angeles, Connecticut, and Florida), these four like-minded individuals came together in Orlando after various side-projects fell by the wayside. Each brought their own unique style and presence, creating one of the most unique and powerful groups to be seen in the music industry in quite a while. With influences ranging from The Beatles to Sevendust, GHOSTBOX has developed a style and image all their own with thundering drums and bass, roaring guitars, and infectious melodies and lyrics.
Already creating a stir around Florida, their live show must be seen to be believed. Within a year they have played virtually every major venue in Central Florida including Hard Rock Live, the 2002 Orlando Fringe Festival, headlining the 2002 Deland Music Festival and winning the 2002 NAAN Battle of the Bands. Each show takes their audience to new levels of energy and excitement. Not many bands have the ability to bring the audience in as GHOSTBOX does, creating an experience not soon to be forgotten.
