The band takes influences from traditional rhythm and blues music and molds their own unique, roots-oriented sound. Three times nominated for Alberta’s top music awards, The Swingin’ Ya Band has been performing in Western Canada since the early ‘90’s. Guitarist / vocalist Tom Roschkov has received extensive radio play and shared stages with Colin James, k.d.lang, thePowder Blues band and Frankie Lee.
