Artist History
In June 1989, Jonas and his friends started Station Obscen. This was purely a sound experiment at the time. A few days later, they split, leaving Jonas making music on his own. In 1991, Jonas cousin Jörgen and another friend, Robert Fagerlund joined STOB. Robert took the place as singer and Jörgen became the percussionist. Robert left the summer of 1992, and Jonas took his place as vocalist. Keyboardist Lars Blom joined up in 1994, giving the band a needful music injection. Guitarist Rickard Andersson joined in 1995, after a release party. In 1996, Jörgen left the band, and Peter Pyykönen took his place behind the drums. Station Obscen has participated on 5 cd collections - Monument/1, Monument/2, Subsoil II, Monument/6 and Monument/8. |
