Artist description
My desire to express myself musically has led me to composing. New Beginnings was my first CD at age sixteen. I have discovered that my most creative moments fill me with energy. I experience a consciousness and capability that integrates my various other dimensions. It’s a joyful place to be because it feels like I can break through the constrictions I feel in some other areas. Psychology calls this “peak experience” and physics calls it “flow”. It’s integrated consciousness that results, which is a high-energy phenomenon. It’s my spiritual unfoldment, taking me beyond words, and liberating to my spirit. The flow comes from my center, my heart.Composing always lifts my spirits. It takes me beyond my day to day experiences and fulfills my creative self. I experience a balance and flow of creative ideas when I express myself musically. My music comes from a form of energy I feel when in “flow” or balance. It doesn’t happen until I center my ideas, thoughts and feelings. Once I find my center, my random ideas become organized and musical. It is my hope that my listeners will come to recognize and understand that there is a universal need for love, unity, compassion for and connection with one another and all life. We, as individuals, then collectively, can create this in our world. |
