Artist description
Omega is not a group nor artist, but a concept. The concept is:“The Lord is the Alpha and Omega (or beginning and ending) of all. Hip-hop music is not excluded from this. Therefore, the movement towards sin that secular hip-hop has created will come to an end – and Omega (Trig) wants to be apart of that process.” |

Artist History
James Rosseau aka Omega, aka Trig (Artist, Producer and Label owner) comes from a diverse musical / arts background. As a youngster, he was formally trained to play various brass instruments, sang in choirs and acted in plays. James began his practical music experience in 1986 as a high school sophomore performer with the rap group The Bandits. As James’ career continued to flourish he had the opportunity to work with / share venues with many popular groups such as Run D.M.C., The Wu-Tang Clan, Boyz II Men and many others. Although the next several years would provide many accomplishments, In 1997, James made the decision to no longer take any part in secular music, but to solely use his gifts to serve God’s purpose. Later that he year he went on to independently release “Project Omega (the EP)” which gained excellent reviews and aided in establishing a presence for his ministry. |
