Artist description
Music is an expression. The idea and purpose of music is to create unique feelings, which may differ for different individuals. I belive there's a strong relation between images and sounds. Depending on you, each piece of music should stimulate your imagination, creating visuals, thus taking you to different levels of awareness. Music is a connection; a broad one, linking your percieved world with your dream worlds, like no other art form is.
Music making should be a delightful experience. You have the opportunity to express your ideas, subjective opinions, and a vast sea of buried emotions. These emotions and feelings that you layer below your music could not create the the same desired effect in everyone, but if you could at least share your dream world with only a few people, you should consider yourself successful. Above all, you have the chance and ability to experience one of the most satisfying and rewarding accomplishments in life: you have the ability to inspire.
Each genre of music speaks its own language. I believe it is not right to see some genres of music as inferior, only because it does not touch your intellectual taste. Music exists with people. There are many genres of music - so different and so alike - because there are people who find something worthy in them. Respect the people.
The time is now. Everyone with a computer have the opportunity to create music. I rejoice and revel. With so many people and so many ideas, the chances of hearing good music rises tremendously. I am happy to see the dawning of a new age in music. I am happy for taking part in it. Respect the music. |

Artist History
Putting aside the trivial keyboard training at early ages, my real interest in music emerged at the age of 15. For 3 years I played drums. Combined with a healthy dose of metal music, this led to the forming of the band "Dusk I Fancy". This band did not achieve what we expected but our not-so-successful trial at demo recording proved to be one of the turning points in my life.
With the increasing amount of keyboards and orchestration in metal music, my interests also began to change. I left playing drums for some educational challanges, and I was very intrigued by keyboards. I finally bought a Roland RS-5 after some serious brain-storming. Ironically, almost immediately I lost interest in playing an instrument. After all, it was probably too late for me and I lacked the will to study hard. I was rather willing to learn music theory, harmony, and orchestration. I composed a few metal songs. It was about this time that my interest in metal began to wane. My ears began to be occupied by electronica; slowly but steadily. While meddling with some music programs, it occurred to me how my music should be. It has to be balanced. At the one side of the scale stood harmony, orchestration and composition. At the other side was complex drum programming, sound synthesis and modulation. I am struggling for this ever since... |
