Artist description Trail Five is an acoustic pop/rock driven trio based in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. The name Trail Five is a surfing reference to one of our favorite local spots. Combining a mix of melodic vocal styling with simple root-based progressions and altered chords, Trail Five is developing a truly original sound. Concerned with keeping the music melodic and vocal driven, empahsis is put on arranging and maintaining a strong sense of musicianship.

Artist History Brandon Douglas has been performing as a solo performer for the past 15 years and has played with many groups as a bassist/vocalist for the past 15 years here locally in Southern CA and while attending school at the University of Utah. At school he studied jazz and latin jazz and has performed professionally with national touring acts both on-stage and in the studio. Paul Kloepfer has been playing and writing with Brandon for the past 4 years. He has drummed semi-professionally in many projects including pop/rock groups to jazz ensembles for the past 15 years. Stacy Pierce is relatively new to the performing scene but has quickly learned his role in anchoring the low-end. Stacy has a background in blues and has been playing bass and guitar for the past 6 years.
