Artist History The Field Venue formed in the late summer of 2001 when they called themselves Subject 2 Change. After releasing two albums as S2C, they decided to change direction musically, and soon found the need to change their name as well. Label them what you will, whether it be indie rock, emo core, or country western. It is all in the name of rock and roll to them, and that is what they intend to bring you.
