Artist description
Ted Bushey is the real McCoy when you're talking about songwriters.
He writes more, produces more, and finds more talent, (which he then helps
get connected), than anyone I've ever read about, heard about, or for that
matter seen with my own eyes. If you're lucky enough to get into his circle,
it's very productive. His energy and stamina for songwriting are contagious,
his musical ability and sheer talent are like a drug, and his dogged
determination is almost sickening to strangers. Will you be able to take it?
His life for the last 21 years has been wrapped up by his love for
creating music. There's a musical string that runs through his entire life. A
web of musicians, publishers and generally creative people surround him and
he's thankful to all. He has written and recorded well over a 1000 songs of
his own, and has recorded hundreds of songs for other up and coming
artists as well as recording acts. He spent 7 years working for or with most
of the major Canadian and a couple of U.S. labels soliciting songs to artists
on their rosters. Artists as diverse as, Celine Dionne, Bonnie Raitt, Peabo
Brystyn, Helix, Syre, Cassandra Vasic, and Tracie Kennedy. He has also
been involved with several regional artists, corporate endeavors, and
soundtracks.
Ted's sound cannot be classified easily. He plays it all and refuses to
conform to a particular category. Pick a genre, any genre and Ted will write
you a song. It has been said that Ted rarely leaves his studio, but he can be
seen on a fairly regular occasion somewhere in Ontario playing guitar for a
band called Weird n Bushey.
