Artist History
The crisp air in the winter of 1996 foretold of
something great. It was a year of new beginnings,
old endings, and One Star Player. Four young
freshman in high school, happening across
instruments and insight, banded together to form
a band. With such broken hearts and a motive to
rock, great music could be created!
For three long years these youths toiled in their
secret laboratory (read: parent's garage) and set
into motion the basic foundations for which the
music of One Star Player would be built upon.
Amidst a swirl of punk bands and girlfriends;
power chords and garage doors, emerged One Star
Player. Some called it emo, some called it punk,
but all knew it was rock!
