Artist History Nick Gilbert is a singer/songwriter from Ann Arbor/Flint, Michigan. With a diverse sound ranging from soft acoustic melodies to raging electronic harmonies. With such influences as Martin Sexton and Ani Difranco to The Appleseed Cast, Dashboard Confessional and One Line Drawing, to even Pink Floyd. Nick's unique sound and strong stage show has helped to create a loyal fan base and sizeable local following. Nick(Ex-PromiseLiar) has opened for such national bands as: Time and Distance,Benton Falls, Counterfeit, The Kristin Diable Band, Kristin Forbes, Curtis Eller and Denison Witmer. Since the first show in June of 2002, Nick has opened for local Michigan favorites such as: Brandon Wiard, Burning Cities,Jettared, Silence the Wake (Off-Kilter), The Chiodos Brothers, and many others.
