Artist History
Spring:The band L.O.W. from Goslar/ Germany was founded with the line-up: Andreas Lasch (Vocals), Michael Otto (Guitar), Tobias Brandt (Guitar), Volker Götze (Bass) and Edin Alicic (drums). The first gig was played in autmn the same year. A lot of gigs will follow through the whole country.
november:The first demo CD "We couldn´t draw it to a close" with the new singer (Martin Wentz) was released.
april:The song "Damien´s Eyes" was recorded professionally and released on the sampler HARZ BEAT 2000 (from the newspaper Goslarschen Zeitung). The band has to fire the singer and bassist because of private problems before the end of the year.
The search for new members is harder than the band thought. Because of that Michael grabs the mic and starts singing and Tobi tries to play bass. The new members Christian Daerr and Tim Pascharat made the line-up complete and the recording for the new CD "Turn The Page" began. L.O.W. only played live for three times with this line-up.
The recordings can be finished after dealing with some difficulties. The master-mix started. Bevor the CD is finally finished, Christian Daerr leaves the band. Dennis Meyer takes his place on the guitar. In December bassist and initial member Volker is gotten back in the band and replaced Tobias.
After 2 years in not playing live the band got back on stage on the Open Air HARZ ROCK 2002 on 22.06., where also bands like OVERKILL (USA), BLAZE BAYLEY (GB) und TANKARD (GER), AGATHODAIMON (GER) played. On this weekend the CD "Turn The Page" was released.. Other gigs will follow. New songs are in progress. |
