Artist History
The history of "Fed of Me" began back in the early spring of 2000 when the rap metal band, then
Clockwise, split up. The bass player of clockwise Jacob
Vazquez at the time, went to a Birthday party held
Joaquin Ortiz and was ask to join his "Fed of Me" project.
Joaquin, unaware of jacobs guitar skill, he decided to
join Fed of Me. Jacob Vazquez, a young guitarist,
had been working on his own material and was determined to look with Joaquin for members to join
his Fed of Me project. he had asked the previous Clockwise
vocalist Joaquin Ortiz to give a listen. Joaquin
loved what he heard and the two set up some rehersals.
After a few jams together the two clearly saw that the musicianship was all there
and just needed some drums. Then sometime later the
previous Clockwise drummer Hector Perez payed the
two a visit. Hector was eager to hear some of the material that Jacob and Joaquin had. Hector
loved the new direction they were heading and wanted so bad to lay
some beats over the riffs. Hector joined the project
that same day, they began jamming and it was all clicking so well.
All they needed now was the layering of two more instruments and that's when Jacob met Juan Salinas.
Juan himself was in a slipknot cover band and was looking for something a bit different, something more om his groove..
He looked all over to join a band and it just so happened that he played bass.
After they jammed out on a couple songs Jacob knew what had to be done and recruited Juan.
All that was left now was the fifth and final element, a second guitarist.
After being cheated on and dumped. Joaquin decided to drink
his problems away and went to party to meet a person
that had blunts rolled and is a guitar player. Adam Rodriguez invited
the then depressed singer to smoke. The two discussed music together
and talked about the directions they wanted to go. After Joaquin
found out that Adam played guitar, Joaquin invited him to attend a Fed of Me practice.
Adam attended the practice and was blown away by what he heard. It was exactly what he
himself was in search of and just had to join and so the band
was ready to go. After the band was completed they managed
to pump out song after song of nothing but raw emotional
,groove heavy, melodic dissonant music which has won them
the respect of friends, fans, and fellow musicians all over
the Rio Grande Valley. They have over come many obstacles, broken barriers, and
dismantled any limitations that stood in their way. They have made it
clear how bad they want it and to this day they continue
to persevere. Fed of me is a powerful force yet to be wreckoned with
so keep still and don't make any sudden movements
cuz when Fed of Me comes to your city or town, be prepared
to see some heavy ass grooves that will kick your fucking head in
