Press Reviews
Opening track 'Doctor Mick' is an absolute monster of a track. Ridiculous, but I suspect deliberately, funny lyrics accompany a blisteringly powerful punk metal rock track. The production is excellent and the musicianship is equally as good. Some detractors have knocked Careless for the fact they don't take it too seriously. I think they've missed the point! All I know is I keep putting the CD on the stereo and it always puts me in a good mood. Like Rat:Daddy, they are a welcome reminder that we really shouldn't take music so seriously. Let's face it, with a front man as crazy as Jimbo (NO, it's not Harry Enfield!) fronting the band, how could you take it seriously! Not totally original, but with enough guts and conviction to back it up, a great frontman, a great band, Careless can only get better. Ten out of ten, a great CD.
