Artist description John was trained in classical music as a child studying primarily violin.In 1973 at the age of 16 he played bass in the Sydney Production of "Godspell" and did some study at the conservatoire in jazz. He went on to play in different bands,variously playing bass,guitar,keyboards and singing. In 1992he wrote and performed an ad for Capital TV. Career and family commitments limited involvement in music. In 2001,he wrote and recorded a song performing again in a duo and three-piece band in the Illawarra region. During this time he joined in the Strange Worlds project. Joe has been performing musically since 1984,playing in a number of bands until 2001,where he had a small break. He is self-taught on lead ,rhythm,bass and keyboards. Michael has performed vocally intermittently at weddings and limited forays with a then newly formed band. He has remained committed throughout his life to one day being able to produce music which he hopes can be enjoyed by many. Innovations in technology via computers and its use for music finally provided the vehicle for self expression at a viable cost. The Strange Worlds project grew from a single entity that has been well recieved from musicians that initially heard the first few songs. Since then John and Joe have become core members with other musicians occassionally making contributions. Our philosophy toward music has been to explore and combine differing styles of music,to endeavour to create songs that are interesting musically as well as lyrically.As time progresses we hope to reach that goal.

Artist History Group formed in May 2002.Currently unsigned.Concentrating on originals of differing styles and tastes. In the 10 month period 28 original songs were recorded in a home studio setting culminating in "Strange Worlds" self-titled first album, "Within our Dreams" second album and recently completed "Blackhouse" album.
