Artist description
Sevenfold Tomorrow, a four-piece indie rock outfit, is the band that Kansas City has been desperately waiting for. Their perfect blend of edgy emotional rock takes the listener on a suspenseful ride through quirky time changes, turns of harmony and dissonance, and dynamic peaks all crafted into four minutes. If you can imagine the guitars of At The Drive-In on top of catchy drum grooves with clear melodic vocals, or if you can imagine a drunken angry Coldplay jamming with a hardcore band it may give you some idea to what Sevenfold Tomorrow is all about.
The recently completed Rio Sessions, recorded in only ten hours, accurately showcases the bands potential and prolonged listening to the Rio Sessions has even been known to cure the common cold, ovarian cancer, and mild cases of crabs. All of this combined with an intense, emotional live show will surely take the Kansas City club scene by storm. The anxiety for the future of this promising band leads them to scream, “this is my chance to breathe!” Let’s hope this is a self-fulfilling promise for Sevenfold Tomorrow.
Formed in the last month of 2002, former members of local bands Fairfax and Stop.Go.Ethic have found their home in Sevenfold Tomorrow. United by the common passion for this style of music, Ryan Hill (drums) and Briston Davidge (bass) began jamming and writing new material with Enrique Chi (guitar). A month after finding the very talented singer Ryan Williams, Sevenfold Tomorrow entered BRC studios to track this new material. Ten hours and two pizzas later, the ro sessions were complete.
