Artist description
Unlike most acts that have a visual female performer for marketing purposes only. Meg Hackett is a performer who seems to break the stereotype of the typical solo artist. In her act she not only does covers such as Melissa Etheridge and Bonnie Raitt, but also she has the versatility to be able to perform so many different styles, anything from Elvis Costello to Elvis Presley. Sliced in between are her originals that are as varied as the performer. |

Press Reviews
BRIDGEPORT POST - "Their goal: to bring the house down, most are mediocre. But now and then people with real talent slip through. During a recent open-mic night, Meg Hackett was one of those who slipped through - after keeping the 100 or so college-aged students glued to their seats with her buttersmooth reading of Joni Mitchell material."
- Anthony B. Spinnelli, Jr.
RHYTHM GUITAR - Her live performance has been touted as non-stop energy, professional, and a natural."
