Artist description
Deleveled writes straightforward, radio-friendly rock songs, according to a review of Deleveled’s Later Than Usual in the April 17 edition of The Florence Morning News. The band’s sound is of the earnest, thought-provoking kind, the article went on to say. Producer Kevin Smith worked with Deleveled on crafting the CD. Smith says that the guys in Deleveled are rare – really hard workers determined to see this project be the best it could be, which is not the norm for a lot of musicians I know. He added that everybody wants to be famous overnight, but few are willing to put in the blood, sweat and tears. With the same work ethic in their live show, Deleveled will certainly make some noise on the scene. |

Artist History
After forming in March of 2002 in Florence, South Carolina, the members of Deleveled immediately set to work with a common goal: to create music. The band boasts an ever-growing catalog of songs comparable to that of bands that have been together much longer. The sense of urgency to write never ceases, as the members of Deleveled continually feel the need to convey their thoughts and feelings in the form of song. Their desire to communicate to the world is prevalent in all they do. April 2003 marked the release of Later Than Usual, the group’s first CD – an impressively packaged 8-song creation that was birthed after several months of studio labor. The band is currently busy playing live shows throughout the South East and promoting the release of the CD. |
