Artist description
Duwobi is the eclectic merger of two brothers. Bill and Tommy Reddicks have combined to create an eclectic blend of world, folk-rock and new-age in their recordings. Bill, based more in the folk and pure rock realm adds grit and quality vocal air to Tommy's synth landscapes and ethnic blends. Bill's voice is unmistakably clean and cuts like no other. The end effect of this duo gives the listener a wild ride from raw indigenous sounds to revolutionary synthetic ideas to haunting accoustic storytelling. Check out the two latest releases, "Letting Her Fall", and "Scared" for a quick taste of the duo's true power. |

Artist History
Duwobi has been recording together now for three years, and has only recently began putting the new music forward (beyond family and close friends). Bill's gutty lyrical style and cut throat singing has begun to merge with Tommy's 25+ years of musical training, developing a true identity for the two. Both grew up in rural Wyoming, where finding ways to be creative with very little resources was a normal part of life. Following college, the two pursued careers before linking up in 2000 with matching cross-country home recording studios. Another move in 2001 brought the pair within driving distance and the rest is the present. |
