Artist description
This is my second mp3.com endeavour, and this time I plan to ride a wave i've been swimming for for the last year or two. I want to improv lyrics, chord progressions, melodies all at once, in a flow and see what might come of it. I have many takes and takes of rehearsed written themes which just lose their meaning a little more each time you play them. I'm finding that the true beauty of music is in the way it flows when it is unhindered.
So I plug one microphone into my four track, usually with a mug of tea by side to quiet the trickmeister masters of vocal chords, and I push record. From that point it holds that it should be a different tune each time, and the lyrics are never known until after they are spouted. Does this refute their ability to contain meaning or truth? Neigh say I, therein with the flow is how a true meaning is wrought out to our able minds, be it through music or painting or any other art form.
That being the serious side of it, the fun side is not caring about any of that nonsense until after and just enjoying the tell tale signs of a fictionous story, anything that delights the mind is game for the roll. |

Artist History
I've played guitar around 5 years, but the material within doesn't showcase any guitar virtuosity. The point is to provide backing to a melody, the trick is making the two work together on the fly.
I also play piano, and am trying to learn the violin. I had a previous musical grandstand called the prodigal sun which I have shedded now due to technical difficulties. Some of the more structured material I have done can be found there, www.mp3.com/Acoustic_Epitomy/ |
