Artist History
It began in 1996 when Shayne Lawrence decided to
start a band with a couple of friends (Adam Hates
You). He had previously been writing music and wanted
to give it a more live feel instead of just a computer.
The band lasted 2 and a half years, then in November
of 1998, the band still going, Shayne went on a trip to
Calgary (Alberta). He was there for a week. Then 2
weeks later, back at work and with the band, he decided
to move to Calgary. So he quit his job and...moved.
In Calgary, with no band Shayne started to write.
Twitch started in 1999, when Shayne released a tape
called "Twitch". The tape was limited so it didn't get
into many peaople's hands, mostly friends.
In April 2002, Shayne released a CD called
"We Are Here To Dance!"
