Artist History
Stacks Getaway was formed at Western Washington University. The six members, Mike Mostert, Brad Stirling, Scott Dusek, Adam Brown, Zach Miller, and Pat Erker, all agreed that it was time to create some original music that would surely move a crowd. With this idea in mind, Stacks Getaway was born. A funk band at heart, Stacks G's music is founded on the principles of originality and the ability to entertain. "The minute we start sounding like everything else is the minute we give up music."-Stacks Getaway |

Press Reviews
"Great first impression for a demo. Seems like the type of jam band that would fit perfectly...with a college following grooving their asses off. Bass inro to 'Break Away' is sick. Nice work, boys." -Casey McNerthney. What's Up! Magazine. June 2003 issue review of King Street Sessions(EP). |
