Artist History
Brandon Beyer began playing guitar and performing at church in early high school. His natural talents on guitar and outstanding vocal performances immediately appealed to young and old audiences alike. Brandon quickly came to realize that music was to be his career of choice. After spending a year in college, Brandon auditioned for and was given a part in the Music Country Music show at Oprylands Fiesta, TX theme park. Brandon took on a lead part in the show and was a key member of the cast for three seasons. Again, the impact Brandon had on the members of the audience was evident.
After leaving the show, Brandon committed himself to supporting his family by starting his own business in the home contracting and remodeling industry. His success in this field allowed Brandon the flexibility to devote a great deal of time to honing his skills as a songwriter. During this period of several years, Brandon also spent a good amount of time leading worship at his home church in Shawnee, KS.
Currently, Brandon is touring regularly with his band, Brandon Beyer & the NOT SO Average Cowboys. The band performs nearly every weekend at larger clubs, dance halls, and fairs throughout the Midwest region. In less than two years, the band has become one of the most recognizable and popular bands in the area playing a mix of pop and country, traditional and current music, and original and cover material. Brandon and his band are also opening shows for many of the national acts who make tour stops in the area.
