Artist History Under various names and projects, Ché Cleland (vocals/bass), Steve Donohoe (guitar), Russ Simpson (guitar), and Brian Vella (drums) have been making music since the summer of 1994. In late 1999, some changes were made. Steve decided to step aside on guitar, and to concentrate more on his areas of expertise, including sound design/sequencing, co-song writing, and producing/engineering our independent recordings. Ché stepped down from the bass guitar to concentrate solely on singing, lyrics, marketing and communications for the band, while Russ and Brian focused on songwriting. At this time Jeremy Gill took over the bass guitar. His experience and talent as well as his unique persona was a welcome addition to the musical collaboration. The last piece of the puzzle was adding guitarist Melroy Pereira, a long time friend of the band, who had been playing guitar with Russ since their early days, learning their instruments together. NeveroddoreveN was formed.
