Artist description G is US Bio The music industry is flacid, G is US is a stiff boner, right when you need it. The erection began electronically, and emerged at the end as a full group of self proclamied rock stars and super heroes. We call ourselves Suburban NiNja Rock; the reasoning behind that being we (like the ninja) can morph to fit our surroundings. We can play silly diddies about going pee and fighting ninjas, to serious songs about rape and the degration of humanity. This comes from the eclectic mix of characters in G is US. Spookyboy is the originator of the group, he writes most of the lyrics, sings, and came up with most of the beats. On stage he also weilds a theremin mounted on a skateboard, mostly for the "what the fuck" effect. Then there is Snack Time, who was there from nearly the begining. Snack Time is the face behind the bass. Beyond bass he supplies other wacky instruments including a NiNtendo, lumivox, and Spook & Spell. The drums are supplied by a sensoned jazz drummer by the name of ProFessa' E. The PRofessa' is an amazing drummer, and we deem him the only REAL talent in the group. On the sexier side of things, is CLitty Cat. She takes over the beats live, and has begun doing her own as well. Don't piss of this kitten though, because she also has a scream that can deafen, which we use to the our advantage. Then, There is newcomer Lenry. Lerny is by blood a bassist and drummer, but has tackled guitar for the G is US family. He plays fast 'N' Mean, and looks like a queen. Together we hope to open minds and ears around the bay area of california. Stirring up the muck that has settled on the dancefloors across so many venues. We bring a high energy, life-filled, enjoyable performance any where we play. We played with such bands as Element of Suprise, LUXT, Unominame, Gritt, Sexually Transmitted People, Urine Love, and Triple Nipple.
