Artist History
DJ Matto is born at the 26.04.1980 in Rorschach.
With 7 years, he began to play the piano.
Beside Boogies, that he still has well in memory
today, he played also classic pieces as well as
jazz.DJ Matto began itself to interest the first
time with 17 years for the activity of the DJs.
Exactly in that age, he went out the first time
into the arena disco after Thal. Fascinate from
the trance-music as well as the Happysound and
the Spanish dance-rhytm's, he had the idea to
work also as Deejay someday. His Debut as Deejay
gave DJ Matto in the year 2000 at a party in the
Ski camp, with help of like-minded Deejays.
Smaller appearances followed in a pub called
"Lollipop" in Arbon, where somewhat quieter music
was in demand. Until today has remained same that
DJ Matto preferes CDs and not records for his dj
sessions.
The reason why he now and then works as a deejay,
is the pure enjoyment at the music. DJ Matto
likes Trance / Progressive however, House and also
somewhat more commercial pieces very mutch.
At the moment the vocational events are more
important him and therefore he is deejay
irregularly, usually in company of his best friend
Martin (alias DJ MORRY), that he already knows
since the kindergarten. Together with DJ Morry,
DJ Matto worked already in the disco "Red Cat "
in Laax.
