Artist History Papa Smut was abandoned by his parents at a pig farm and raised by Yorkshire Hogs on the lovely plains of central Nebraska. After attempting to make a meager living selling water soluble raingear, he set his sights for the glorious wonders of Colorado. Having quite a temper and a troubled childhood, young Papa Smut always enjoyed hitting things to take the edge off. This landed him in a bit of trouble with the law and he soon found himself drumming in a prison band called "Black Tuna". Upon his release, Papa Smut found the Lord Jesus and quit drinkin' and whorin' around town. However, he and the Minister of Silence quickly crossed paths in the dark alleys of Fort Collins. "The Chloroform Junkies" were formed and unfortunately the drinkin' and whorin' started up all over again. Papa Smut is well on his way to eternal damnation but continues to drum for Das HighRollers and is currently working on his dead end solo project, Kansas Death Klutch.
