Artist History Born and raised in the beautiful island of jamaica on june 2 1977 Gifford AKA wingy danejah grew to love music at the age of 12 his love for music became stronger and stronger. At the of 14 he decided to take it to the next level,he started to do talent shows and and get alot of good responce from the audience which gave him even more power to take it to the next level. In 1995 he decided to do his first recording called deon which got alot of airplay and help to make a name for himself.So he decided to do an album,it took him a while to get serious about the direction inwhich he wanted to go but it was worth the wait because good things started to happen for him, he started to do alot of shows opening up for people like BEENIE MAN, SEAN PAUL, LADYSAW, and BOUNTY KILLER just to name a few he then recorded his first album called WHY? REGGAE WITH STYLE WHICH DREW ALOT OF ATENTION BECAUSE OF his NUMEROUS STYLES.It was like a dream comethrough to hear his songs in heavy rotation on the radio stations in his county.HE performed at City Walk Universal Studios at the reggae club called Bobmarleys whers hisfan base became even larger.Then he decided to change the music and speak more about love and peace, so he followed it up with his second album called DOING BETTER WHICH IS CURRRENTLY IN STORES AROUND fLORIDA.This Cd is one of his best because it got him nominated for reggae artist of the year from the urban music award inc which will be held april,9,2003,if he desearve it God will deliver.
