Artist description As the musical genre progressed into the new millennium so did Janie’s desire to broaden herself vocally from fronting electronic beats such as Jungle Massive Australia at the Big Day Out in 96 and regular live performances on Triple J’s Mix Up, Janie’s 13 years of classical piano study endowed her with a technical confidence to accommodate a diverse array of styles and perspectives. So whilst the urges for electronica are being satisfied the other side of Janie loves it raw and simplified down to girl and guitar.
