Artist History
The story:
The band was founded in August 2000 by drummer Allan. The first line-up featured Henrik and a former guitarplayer. Early 2001 the line-up was completed by Bart, Kim and Kristian. Soon after they recorded their 1st promo at Sound Zone Studios. This let to various gigs around Copenhagen and already in November 2001 they once again entered Sound Zone Studios and recorded their 2nd promo "Less Is More" . Since this release the band has played numerous gigs including a sold out Sick Of It All support.
The present:
Visual Block has just finished the recording of their 3rd promo in the Jacob Hansen Studio and is now promoting it to labels, venues ect. around the world in wish to achieve recognition outside Denmark. Beside this they are currently planning a lot of gigs all over Denmark.
Being a part of the independent record label "Gritt Records", whose purpose is to visualize the Danish underground, Visual Block is cooperating with other innovative Danish metal-bands which so far has resulted in live-shows and a lot of promotion
The future:
With the new promo Visual Block is hoping to contribute to the public knowledge of the Danish metal-scene in Denmark as well as in the rest of the world.
As any other ambitious band Visual Block is chasing a recorddeal which will help them achieve the above mentioned.
