Artist History Katfish Karr started playing at the age of 10 in Louisville, Ky. He soon became one of the most respected guitarist in that area at the age of 16. Katfish was recording and playing with some of the top groups in the midwest during the 60's and 70's. Most all of the groups were R&B or soul groups which gave him his feel and touch on the fretboard. Katfish recorded with groups known nationwide like the Esquires which were a very soul filled group with hits: Hey Girl and Stay All Night.
