Artist description
Springing from northern Vermont, John Renaud
is poised to face the challenges of an artistic livelihood.
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter, John finds inspiration
and influence in the broad range of styles falling under the
parent "Rock" category. Notable favorites include Jawbreaker,
Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, and The Tragically Hip. Gritty and
melodic, his songs deal in social anxiety, loneliness, and the
frustrations of creativity. |

Artist History
In the spring of 2002, Renaud recorded and self released a full length
demo titled "Hero's Welcome". Named after a general store in
North Hero, Vermont, "Hero's Welcome" is a collection of songs covering
five years of songwriting. The project found John acting as producer,
as well as playing all of the instruments. Schooled in the visual arts,
he designed and crafted CD covers, along with promotional packages. |
