Artist History Black Autumn was founded sometime between 1993 and 1995 with the intention to play Black Metal in the vein of Burzum, Immortal and Satyricon. As time went on more and more elements from other genres found their way into the bands music and constantly extended the soundscape. Changing from analogue to fully digital recording procedures opened up totally new possibilities, thus Black Autumns sound is hardly to categorise now and may be best described as some sort of "Industrial Black Metal" somewhere between Burzum, theGathering, Amon Tobin, (maybe) Portishead and The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud ("The Smell Of Blood But Victory"), as well as some influences of newer Ulver stuff.
