Artist description
My name is Sean and I'm the creative force of RetroSynthetic. I've been making music for about 8 years. When I started working on my first CD, my most important goal was to combine a variety of genres to create a sound that doesn't recognize genre & sub-genre limitations. The World Reflecting Itself aims to shatter many genre barriers. It combines elements of different styles of music to achieve an uncommonly pleasing and unique flavor. Variety is the most important part of music. My methods of producing the music of RetroSynthetic are as varied as the songs. I use a combination of electronic instruments & sound modules, analog modeling synthesizers, guitars, bases, samples and live sound to achieve the optimum sound. I've used different recording techniques, sound modeling and sequential effect processing to produce the flavorful sounds of RetroSynthetic's first CD, The World Reflecting Itself. RetroSynthetic's 2nd CD, Downstream to Mainstream is filled with prime House cuts - from Progressive to Hard House. Check out the music & tell me about your favorites. |
