Artist description
Hostile Ground, or the entity that is known as Hostile Ground was formed in the depths of a basement of a suburban home in Belmont, Massachusetts in the year of our lord, nineteen ninety nine. There is much history in the story of this Hardcore/Metal band, much of it unworthy of further detail. Still, it is difficult to reframe from pondering the dark past of this greater Bostonian quartet. For four years, James Francis Mckenna, Shawn Christopher Heron and Scott MitcHELL Heron have picked and proded, poked and repoked at the art of music in the hopes that a new face on this ever-growing craft might be created. In the spring of 2002, an unfamiliar force entered the already unyielding energic trio named Clayton Southworth. With this addition, the line-up was complete. And now we look toward the future. What is to come for these four? With already a few rather successful performances under their belt, Hostile Ground continues to frighten, delight, enlighten, disgust, confuse, haunt, and arouse the men, women, and children of America. |
