    Artist description
The sound of the band is rich in symphonic atmospheres as well as in medieval-like ones. Sometimes it gets close to classical music, due to the fact that the Dogma make use of a female lyrical voice (soprano) in some of their songs. Despite all of these musical influences, the band sticks to a heavy sound characterized by a distorted guitar, which is always penetrating and powerful. Their music has often been defined as “Symphonic Heavy Metal” but the Dogma try not to describe it precisely as their aim is to sweep from a musical genre to another. Despite this, they state their faithfulness to the sounds of their origins : Heavy Metal and Gothic.

    Artist History
Dogma formed at the end of 1999. The band is made up of four members (Daniele,Stefano,Cosimo,Giuseppe), whose musical tastes are very varied as they go from extreme sounds to melancholic ballads. Before founding the Dogma, all of the members had previously had experiences with several musical genres as Prog, Black Metal, Heavy, Thrash, Hard Rock, etc. The Dogma’s live activity is marked by a praiseworthy live performance and also by the energy these four guys spread through their powerful, melancholic music. The band has won sever The al musical contests, too (Metal contests but also non-Metal ones). At the end of June 2002 the Dogma release their first CD entitled “SYMPHONIES OF LOVE AND HATE”, whose features are Power and Melody, lyrics which are at times provocative, at times realistic but also theatrical and whose main topics are Love and Hate , two opposite feelings that are essential to everyone. The CD features the growl vocals of Amon Trend Killer (Disjecta AboveTheRim, The8thSin) and the female lyrical voice of Enrichetta Coli. The Dogma have never had a steady bass player in their line-up. For their live performances they have always used a guest musician and in the CD the bass is played by Cosimo ( the guitarist of the band).15/03/2003 they signed with label underground Symphony. The new album called "Insane Melancholy Symphonia will be out on 1-03-2004
