Artist description The Gemtones are a family act, made up of brothers Ian & Trevor Sanders and their dad, Dave. They play a wide range of Blues, Classic Rock, Funk and Surf genres including many original songs. They have a reputation for an exciting live show performing at everything from large festivals to all-night-long barrell house gigs.

Artist History The Gemtones played their first show at friend's restaurant in San Clemente, California in April of 2001 (when Ian was 12 and Trevor 10) and have been working ever since, playing approximately 30 live shows a year. They've opened for numerous national touring acts including Eric Gales, Eric Sardinas, Walter Trout, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Buddy Miles, Dick Dale and many more. Currently, they're working on material for a full-length album to be produced in 2004. Avid do-it-yourselfers, they build much of their own equipment including custom made guitars built by Dave.
