Artist History
One Too Many started out in the fall of 2002 and is a five piece Emocore/Rock band out of Mechanicsville, Maryland. The band was first a thought of long time friends, Dustin Hughes and Shane Beachy. The two had heard of a drummer named Chapin Deaver wanting to start a band. Chapin decided to join the them on the quest for a dream. The band had its guitars, bass and drums but they were missing one piece to the puzzle, their lead singer. Chapin suggested the idea that of a old friend to join the band due to his vocal capabilities. They played a great deal of shows with him. Gained some fans along the way. Durning the summer of '03. One Too Many's singer decided singing in bands wasn't what he wanted anymore. So OTM was forced to find a new singer. They found Micheal Mattingly. Shortyly after OTM's bassist decided to leave. long time friend of Dustin and Shane, Maurice Owens AKA moe joined. With One Too Many's rythemic drums, melodic bass, heavy guitars and emotional lyrics; they hope to make a big name for themselves in the music world. |
