Artist History The name, MDT, has derived off of my older name, Mad Dawg 20/20. When I was younger, me and my brother and his friend all formed this rap group where each of us took dog names. My brother was Daddy Dawg Byte, and his friend was K-Dawg. Being out of ideas, I thought Mad Dawg would be a good name. Over the years, the name became rather corny to me and I wanted to change it. So I figured MDT would be a just fit. I like my MDT name, b!tch, so shut up. Another thing I should probably mention is my songs you may never see in this profile. My one song, "Sometimes (Dedicated To...)", was up for being put on here but was not approved. Maybe it was because it soley sampled off of three other songs (Method Man's "I'll Be There For You/You're All I Need To Get By Puff Daddy Remix", The Rolling Stones' "Mother's Little Helper", and Glen Burtnik's "Metallic Purple Burst"). Another which won't be up here is "Dear Helga", whose entire beat and chorus takes from The Cure's "Close To Me (Closer Mix)". Maybe some day I'll offer a non-sampling remix like I did the "We Are The Guards" song (which used to rely on the beat to Fabolous' "Young'n") but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
