Being raised on punk rock and and thrash metal all of the members had some experience before creating envilent. No gimmicks, no rapping, no want to be metal. Envilent just plays metal the best they can and love to play shows. Envilent has played with such bands as Antagonist, Basura, and As Hope Dies.
