Artist description
Mysterious, beautiful and the voice of an angel! Xandra exudes the soul and passion rarely heard in a new young artist. No one really knows where she comes from or where she learned to sing the way she does, but it's easy to see that she's headed for certain success. This bright young star knows how to fill the hearts of those who hear her with inspiration and emotion! |

Press Reviews
Xandra sparks memories of 1970s and 80s Soft Pop, best exemplified on her Stacy Lattisaw cover, "Let Me Be Your Angel." Compilations like "Spirit of 73" validate that women's music was just as heartfelt then as it is now. Music makers like Carole King, Ambrosia (that's right, men too!) and Olivia Newton John exuded lush, unabashedly sweet fireside pop and rock then was all about the production. Atmosphere. Here--without being hackneyed or trite--Xandra's layered harmonies are transcendent, radio-friendly and warm. Today's pop milieu pretends too often to be "cool" and trendy, while this artist adds a modern spin, even to these songs that reminisce. I so enjoy (and miss) this genuine sound.
