Artist description
Triprocket was formed with a desire to write & perform in an electronica style, but with strong emphasis on lyrical content. The band creates innovative pop structures that constantly evolve - from fun and happy to sad or introspective. An exhuberant fan once mentioned that her 14 year old sister and her 40-something mother both enjoyed out music, a testament to Triprocket’s crossover appeal. They are renowned for their energetic live shows. Currently, the band self-releases material via their 10th Planet label. |

Artist History
Triprocket has received numerous accolades during their musical journey. Several songs, most notably “Wild Life”, have been used on MTV’s Real World & Road Rules. Recently, their cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” was used in Dragon Ball Z merchandise, after receiving enthusiastic permission from Mr. Page! They’ve wowed crowds with their conference performances at NEMO, ATLANTIS, ROCKRGRL, & WMC. They were semi-finalists in Musician Mag’s Best Unsigned Band Contest, and the winner of Best Dance Band at the Dallas Observer Music Awards.
During 2002, Triprocket has been recording new songs and videos for their sophomore CD, due in September. A remixed album will also be released in 2002.

Group Members
Kaila Brasell (writer, lead vocals, keys, & guitar), a strong performer onstage, was nominated Female Artist of the Year by dallasmusic.com. Her “one-take” performances in the studio are legendary, When listening to Kaila’s voice, her emotion and conviction make you believe what she’s singing. Matt Tinonga's uses the most current drum technology to allow him to faithfully duplicate the recorded material live. He is an impeccable groovemaster, but still manages to push the rhythmic boundaries. He is also known for his "one-takes" in the studio.
John Inman is the newest (and best fitting) member of the group. His artistry and discipline are refreshing compliments to Triprocket's music. Meanwhile, he is still active as a solo artist, and released his second fusion instrumental album in February 2002. Bobby R directs Triprocket’s musical vision, and is responsible the majority of the group’s remixes. Proving his talents in recent years, Bobby has achieved a long list of outside production and remix credits in diverse genres.
