Artist description
West Coast producer, recording engineer, composer & musician, Paul Klingberg, is a man of many talents. His recording studio engineering and production credits include some of the most popular recording acts in the world, from Earth, Wind and Fire to Emerson, Lake & Palmer to Cheap Trick.
Over 20 years ago, Paul entered the recording studio world as a musician himself, playing many instruments including drums, guitar & piano. Along with his successful career as recording studio engineer and producer, he has followed his creative heart in continuing to play and compose music. All his life he has been profoundly influenced by some of the great classical works of music, especially 20th Century composers such as Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein and Jean Sebelius.
His music, although at times very different sounding than many of the Pop & R&B records he works on, is very orchestral & symphonic in nature. It takes you on a musical journey that winds through gentle melodic atmospheres with rich orchestral textures. These lush instrumental landscapes elegantly integrate the sounds of many traditional acoustic instruments with contemporary digital synthesis.
