Artist History
Element originally started in 1997 with Four members; Aaron, Adam, Nelson, and Matt. They put out the album "Still A Child" in 1998 on Broken Records(c) and ended up breaking up in January of '98. Out of the original members two remained with the band, Aaron and Adam. They ended up putting on a one-time show for fun in June of '98 with the help of five one being Amy Grant. Shortly after the show, the band split up once again only to restart 4 months later. With Aaron being the only original member left of the band, he strived to get Element together once again with new members. The new members being Dan Wentz on Bass, Adam Henning on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals, Ryan Gruhn on Drums, and Kurtis Haun on Electric Guitar. Arming them selves with the new name "Element 12:12"(c) the new group put on a number of shows and went into the studio to record there newest album "Element 12:12" in winter of '99. The band has a number of shows that will happen in the months to come. Most of them will be on the East Coast and take place in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and other neighboring states. Make sure you read the "Artist Calendar and Notes" for all other updates. |

Press Reviews
The hymn Amazing Grace is one of the best songs ever penned to paper. Element's rendition of it does it justice in this contemporary rendition. A band has to be very confident of themselves to tackle a classic. The keyboards and strings here help to make this (almost) as good as the original, but probably more appealing to the younger set! They added a static sound to give it a somewhat aged feel (nice production trick). Still A Child has one of the most compelling CD covers I've seen in a long time. The whole jacket design and photography is wonderful, befitting such a fantastic album. Oddly, Element does not mention their last names on the CD. It's a way of being humble I presume. This whole album has such a good feel to it that you can't help but tell people about it. One that you really want to LISTEN to, not just hear. If any member of Element is still a child, it is not child-like immaturity, but the child-like faith and love of God that the Bible calls us to emulate. An absolute pleasure to listen!
