Artist description Daddylonglegs is the meeting of Howie B and Jeremy Shaw - two intense musical minds who share a passion for sculpting frequencies and pushing sounds to their (un)natural limits and beyond. Utilizing esoteric synthesizers, drum machines, guitars, warped effects and other sound manipulation devices, Daddylonglegs forge grainy grooves where distortion is not a dirty word and the funk is in the feedback. However, harmony and melody are a fundamental part of this long-limbed aerial beast - Daddylonglegs write songs that, while largely instrumental, scale new heights to unearth waves of sonority and a rich tapestry of emotions.
