Artist description
CALA, founded by Faren Raborn, is a project rather than a group and takes its name from the name of Mr. Raborn's wife. CALA is also an acronym for "the Classical Audio Listening Archive". The archive is a web project being created as an educational resource for classical music. Mr. Raborn holds the Bachelor of Music Education (Vocal) and Master of Music (Choral Conducting) degrees from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. He is currently Director of Music for Purvis United Methodist Church in Purvis, Mississippi. |
