Artist description As America prepares for war with Iraq, some citizens would like the public and the world to know how much we appreciate our fighting men/women and the sacrifices that they are making to defend our freedoms and make this country and the world a better place. Some of us are turning to our god given talents to help with morale. Tye Samples a Texas singer/songwriter decided to do his part to help with morale. “I wanted to contribute in some way, and I have the gift of music to give”. The end result is a song entitled simply ”AMERICAN”. “I originally wrote the song for the victims of the Sept. 11th tragedy” states TYE, “but after the new war on terror and deployment of U.S. troops, combined with so much anti-american sentinent overseas, I decided to let the world know thru song, just how I felt about my county”. I hope that you can join us in celebrating America and our way of life. Regardless of the way you may feel about the WAR, this song is a tribute to something we all love, the good Ole’ U.S. of A.
