Artist History Brother Superior captures the talents of it's individual members and consistently delivers an ass kicking sound. The current lineup came together in 2001. Veteran musicians of Austin and south Texas' Rio Grande valley, the sound is heavy and melodic guitar anchored by a solid rhythm section.

Group Members John Duran on lead guitar plays Fender Stratocasters exclusively, using GHS strings and Line 6 Amplification. Kevin Stamey performs on Tama drums and Zildjian cymbals. Renee Vasquez plays bass using Yamaha, D'Addario strings, Hartke amps and Gallien-Krueger cabinets. Jamie Alejandro, master of ceremonies, sings and provides percussion.
