Artist History
Formed in late 2001, The Head Changers (Austin Alexander/Josh Dick)first established their eclectic roots in the Morgantown, WV music sceen in 1999, as members of Chris Kasper's Waterside Session. In 2000, Austin and Josh decided to leave the group to pursue their own musical ideas. During the following two years, Austin and Josh had little opportunity to write as they were separated by some 500 miles. During that time, however, they were able to find a few short periods to collaborate. These makeshift jam sessions eventually generated hours worth of new material which led The Head Changers into the studio to record a demo CD. Recorded in December, 2001, The 3rd Street Session contains four original, multi-infuenced jams that truly showcase what the band is all about! |
