Artist History My Dad was a singer/songwriter so music definately runs in my family. I remember watching him sing and play the keyboard when I was a little boy and fell in love with music ever since then. I would sneak into the studio when my dad wasnt home, pound on the keys, twist some knobs and then get yelled at when he got home. He would later on let me play with his equipment and I developed even more desire to become a musician. The first thing I ever learned to play was the bass line to Freaky Tales by Too Short. I was now aware that I could play music by ear. I got my first pair of turntables when I was in the 8th grade and started spinning records for fun. Mixing records became an essential foundation for me because it taught me to keep a beat and learn the strutcture and format of a song. After learning to count bars I started writing my own raps and writing raps for friends of mine. I used to get on the roll call at Power 106 and won quite a few times but was never able to claim my prizes which were mostly R rated movies that I couldnt get into because I was only 13. At 17 years old I started buying my own equipment, becoming more serious about music and havent stopped. I've been producing music for about 7 years now. My dad past away 3 years ago and never got to show the world his talent. After he past away, I promised myself that I'm gonna make it in this industy for myself and for him. I wont stop until I make it!
